المستخلص
تتضمن الرسالة خمسة فصول تسبقها المقدمة والفهارس وتليها الخاتمة والملاحق وقائمة المراجع، وتضم المقدمة تعريف بموضوع الدراسة وأهميته ومشكلة الدراسة ثم منطقة الدراسة بأقسامها الإدارية المختلفة، تليها الدراسات السابقة ثم أهداف الدراسة ومناهج الدراسة وأساليبها ومصادر الدراسة ومراجعها فضلاً عن الصعوبات التى واجهت الطالب في الدراسة واختتمت بخطة الدراسة. يتناول الفصل الأول تاريخ صناعة الغزل والنسيج وتطورها بمحافظة الإسكندرية، وذلك من خلال ستة محاور الأول تطور صناعة الغزل والنسيج بداية من القرن التاسع عشر، والثانى دراسة تاريخ صناعة الغزل والنسيج في القرن العشرين، والثالث تطور التوزيع الجغرافي لصناعة الغزل والنسيج في محافظة الإسكندرية، والرابع دراسة النمو الصناعي لصناعة الغزل والنسيج في محافظة الإسكندرية، أما الخامس فهو دراسة تطور صناعة الغزل والنسيج على مستوى القطاع المالك (الكيان القانوني) خلال الفترة، والمحور السادس والأخير فهو دراسة لتطور هيكل صناعة الغزل والنسيج في المحافظة خلال الفترة. يناقش الفصل الثاني التوزيع الجغرافي لصناعة الغزل والنسيج في محافظة الإسكندرية وذلك من خلال ستة محاور، تناولت دراسة التوزيع الجغرافي لمنشآت هذه الصناعة وعدد العاملين بها وقيمة استثماراتها، وتكاليف العمالة، وتوزيع قيمة الإنتاج، والقيمة المضافة، بالإضافة إلى دراسة الكيان القانوني لصناعة الغزل والنسيج ، ويختتم الفصل بدارسة التقييم الجغرافي لهذا التوزيع من خلال تطبيق بعض المقاييس الكمية مثل: معامل الأهمية النسبية، ومنحنى لورانز، ومؤشر التركز الصناعي، ثم دراسة لرتب هذه الصناعة. ويدرس الفصل الثالث مقومات صناعة الغزل والنسيج في محافظة الإسكندرية وهي الموقع والعلاقات المكانية للمحافظة، والمواد الخام، ثم القوى العاملة وموارد الوقود والطاقة ورأس المال النقل والتسويق وبعض المقومات الأخرى مثل: السياسة الحكومية وغيرها.
ويدرس الفصل الرابع خصائص صناعة الغزل والنسيج من خلال تطبيق بعض المقاييس الكمية مثل: حجم هذه الصناعة (الكم الصناعي) وكثافة الصناعة، ومعامل التخصص الصناعي ثم مقياس الترابط الصناعي ومعامل قوة الصناعة، ويختتم الفصل بدراسة التركيب الحجمي لصناعة الغزل والنسيج وتوزيعه، ولكل مقياس من هذه المقاييس رؤية ومعالجة للتباين المكانى للصناعة قيد الدراسة. يتناول الفصل الخامس دراسة لمشكلات صناعة الغزل والنسيج بمختلف جوانبها المتعلقة بالأيدي العاملة أو الخامات أو مكونات الصناعة الأخرى ويدرس أيضاً التخطيط المستقبلي لها من خلال بعض المقترحات، وتعرض الخاتمة أهم نتائج الدراسة وبعض التوصيات التي يمكن من خلالها النهوض بصناعة الغزل والنسيج والمساعدة في تطويرها.

Abstract
The spinning and weaving of ancient industries in Alexandria was the industry as an industry began modern mechanism in the province of Alexandria - and in the whole of Egypt as the first time - when you create an Egyptian English Spinning and Weaving Company in 1899 in the symbols of the area, which turned to the National Company for Spinning and Weaving in 1912 after first the company closed because of foreign competition for their products, and the importance of the study of the textile industry geographically from being a consumer industry with a social dimension, including absorbed by the labor, and the availability of the needs of the population of textile products, and are connected by a lot of other industries, whether complementary or dependent directly or indirectly.
The Research includes five chapters preceded submitted indexes followed Conclusion and supplements and a list of references, and has provided the definition of the subject of study and its significance and the reasons for choosing the topic and then study area various administrative departments, followed by previous studies and then study objectives and methods of the study, methods and sources of the study and references as well as the difficulties faced by the students in the study concluded The study plan.
First chapter deals with the history of spinning, weaving and development of industry in Alexandria, and through the first six axes of development of the textile industry the beginning of the nineteenth century, and the second study the history of the textile industry in the twentieth century, and the third evolution of the geographical distribution of the textile industry in the governorate of Alexandria, and the fourth study the industrial growth of the textile industry in the governorate of Alexandria, while the fifth is the study of the evolution of the textile industry to the landlord sector level (legal entity) during the period, and axis sixth and last is the study of the evolution of the structure of the textile industry in the county during the period.
The second chapter discusses the geographical distribution of the textile industry in Alexandria governorate through six axes, addressed the geographical distribution of the installations of the industry study and the number of employees and the value of its investments, and labor costs, and the distribution of the value of production, value-added, in addition to studying the legal entity for the textile industry, concludes chapter study of the geographic distribution of this assessment by applying some quantitative measures such as: the relative importance coefficient, and Lorenz curve, the index of industrial concentration, and then arranged for a study of the industry.
The third chapter examines the elements of the textile industry in the governorate of Alexandria, a location and spatial relationships of the province, and raw materials, then the manpower and resources of fuel and energy, transport and the head of marketing money and some other elements such as government policy, and others.
It examines the fourth quarter of the textile industry characteristics by applying some quantitative measures such as: the size of the industry (Quantum Industrial) and the intensity of the industry, the coefficient of industrial specialization and industrial correlation coefficient power industry scale and chapter concludes with a study of volumetric structure of the textile industry and its distribution, and each scale of these metrics vision and processing.
Chapter five study of the problems of the textile industry in its various aspects relating to manpower or raw materials or other industry components also examines the future planning her through some of the proposals, and presents the conclusion the most important results of the study and some of the recommendations from which the advancement of industry textile and help develop.
