تختص هذه الدراسة الموسومة (مدینة البعاج نموذج لمدن الحافات الإقلیمیة) بدراسة موقع مدینة البعاج، باعتباره یمثل حافة إقلیم یفصل بین الأراضي الزراعیة التي تقع إلى الشمال منها من جهة، والأراضي الصحراویة في جنوبها من جهة أخرى، وتوضیح كیفیة اختیار هذا الموقع والعوامل الطبیعیة والبشریة وراء هذا الاختیار٠
وتسعى هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة واقع حال التركیب الوظیفي لمدینة البعاج، وإبراز أثر الموقع على خصائص هذا التركیب، وأهمیته في تقدیم الخدمات لإقلیمها، فضلاً عن استخدام بعض المعاییر التخطیطیة للتعرف على كفاءة هذه الوظائف داخل المدینة٠ وقد أظهرت النتائج أنَ هناك بعض الوظائف ذات كفاءة غیر جیدة، ولاسّیما ما یتعلق بكوادرها كالوظیفة التعلیمیة، وذلك بفعل أثر الموقع المتطرف، إذ یعاني الموظفون صعوبة الذهاب إلى مدینة البعاج، هذا فضلاً عن إبراز أثر الموقع على خصائص السكان، ففي هذا النوع من المواقع كثیراً ما تتأثر المدینة المركزیة بهجرة ریفیة من الریف المجاور، وذلك لكونها ذات موقع یكاد یكون معزولاً عن المراكز الحضریة، فهي غیر مستلبة من قبل مدینة أخرى، وهذا ما ظهر في مدینة البعاج التي تشهد هجرة ریفیة كبیرة من إقلیمها المتمم٠
وكذلك تناولت هذه الدراسة الآفاق المستقبلیة للتركیب الوظیفي داخل المدینة، وقد كان للنمو السكاني السریع الذي تشهده المدینة أثراً في زیادة المساحات التي تحتاجها الوظائف بأنواعها في المدینة حتى سنة الهدف 2025م.
ABSTRACT
The present study entitled '' Al-Ba′aj Town as a Model of the Regional Margins Town '' deals with the geographical situation of this city as a fringe separating the agricultural land situated in the north, on one hand and the desert in the south on the other . Further, it points out the choice of this situation and the human and natural factors behind this choice .
This study tries to discover the functional delineation of Al-Ba′aj and the effects of this situation on the characteristics of this delineation and its importance in providing services to its region . Moreover, the use of some planning criteria to know the effects of these function inside the city. The result revealed that some of these function are not efficient especially concerning education and service sectors, because of the remote situation of the city. In fact, the officials suffer from the difficulty of getting to Ba′aj city besides the effect of its situation on the population and their characteristics . In such rural situation, the central city is highly influenced by the migration from the neighboring rural regions for being situation which is nearly isolated from the urban centres . As a matter of fact, it is not taken by another city : and this is obvious in Al-Ba′aj which witnessed a wide rural invasion from its own region .
Finally, this study explains the future perspectives of the functional structure, the rapid population increase which is witnessed by the city has a direct effect on the increase of the area needed by the various types of functions in the city until 2025 .
