المستخلص:
إن تناول البحث في التوزيع الجغرافي لصناعة مواد البناء والصيني والخزف والزجاج في المملكة العربية السعودية نتج عن ملاحظة أهمية هذه الصناعة، حيث أنها تتصدر قائمة مكونات الصناعة الأخرى، {كما تظهر ذلك الأرقام في نشرات وزارة التجارة والصناعة، ومصلحة الإحصاءات العامة، (فيما عدا الصناعات الكيماوية، التي تعتبر من الصناعات الكثيفة (Intensive Manufacture))}، ومما يزيد من أهمية هذه الصناعة كونها عماد للتنمية العمرانية في المملكة. وبلغ عدد المصانع المنتجة عام 1428هـ/2007م ستمائة وثلاثة عشر مصنعا، واستحوذت على رأس مال مستثمر يصل إلى 39.051.14 مليون ريـال كما أن عدد العمالة الصناعية فيها بلغ 57397، وهي بذلك تعتبر صناعة رائدة تساهم في زيادة الدخل ورفع مستوى المعيشة بالنسبة للسكان في المناطق التي وجدت فيها. وتسهم الصناعات التحويلية بنسبة 12? كقيمة مضافة للدخل القومي، مما يدل على مساهمة هذه الصناعة التي تتبوأ المرتبة الثالثة في قائمة مكونات الصناعة التحويلية في المملكة العربية السعودية. اعتمدت الدراسة في إجرائها على المنهج التحليلي الاستقرائي، واستعرضت خصائص التوزيع الجغرافي لهذه الصناعة في المناطق الإدارية المختلفة للمملكة، والبيانات والمعلومات التي جمعت من نشرات وزارة التجارة والصناعة، ومصلحة الإحصاءات العامة، التابعة لوزارة الاقتصاد والتخطيط. وستوظف الطرق الإحصائية اللازمة لبناء الجداول، التي بنى عليها العديد من الأشكال وخرائط الدراسة، وفي الختام نوقشت نتائج هذه الدراسة بصورة شاملة لمعرفة مدى التركز والتشتت المكاني لهذه الصناعة في مناطق المملكة الإدارية على المستوى المحلي، وقياس تركز هذه الصناعة باستخدام المؤشر الصناعي على المستوى العالمي، ليتسنى معرفة موقع هذه الصناعة في الخريطة الصناعية العالمية.
Characteristics of the Geographical Distribution of the Manufacture of Building Materials and Chinaware, Porcelain, and Glass in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1428h

Abstract.
The discussions dealt with in the study of geographical distribution of the manufacture of building materials and Chinaware, porcelain, and glass, in Saudi Arabia resulted in remarking the importance of this industry as it tops the list of all other components of the whole industry, (as the figures show in the publications of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Department of Statistics, Except the chemical industry, which considered as an intensive Manufacture, and thus the importance of this manufacture increasing, and has acted as a pillar to the urban development in the Kingdom.
The number of productive factories in 1427/2006 are 613, and the capital invested is 39.05114 billion riyals and the number of industrial employment is 57 397, this situation resulted a leading manufacture contributing to increase income and raise the standard of living for the population in areas where have existed.
The study, will adopt the inductive analytical approach, to show the properties of the geographical distribution of the manufacture in the administrative regions in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, The data and information obtained from the bulletins and publications issued from the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and Department of Statistics, Ministry of Economy and Planning.
An statistical methods will be applied in order to build tables, from which many graphs and maps of the study could be design, A conclusion in a comprehensive manner will discuss the results of the study to determine the concentration and dispersion of the spatial distribution of the manufacture in the administrative regions at local level, and measuring the concentration using the industrial index at the global level, in order to know the weight of this manufacture in the global industrial map.
